Dusty

Most of my reference photos are images that I desire to recreate.

I was recently commissioned to paint any type of horse I wanted. I began scrolling through free reference photos posted on a Facebook page I follow. One of the members is from Germany and I absolutely love her equine photos. She really brings out her horse’s personalities. As soon as I came across her Quarter Horse “Dusty” I knew he would be perfect to paint. (Photo credit Sabine Go)
