Art Rocks returns to Clinton this summer! “GET ROCKIN’ IN CLINTON, NY”
Hand-crafted Adirondack rocking chairs featuring original artwork painted by local artists are now on display at Art Rocks sponsor businesses and merchants throughout the village and beyond. In June, we revealed the “Art Rocks Stroll” map and materials detailing the chair locations and artist/sponsor information. Visitors will marvel at the artists’ creativity with rockers that may be described as contemporary, whimsical, classical, folksy, edgy, avant-guard or crafty. Art Rocks is a fundraiser for the Clinton Chamber, and these masterful and functional works of art are available for purchase to the highest bidder. The Chamber splits the proceeds from the auction with the artists.
Art Rocks will conclude with a Live Auction at the Clinton Art & Music Festival on Saturday, August 26th. Your bids are supporting this great community event and the creative spirit in Clinton, thank you for your continued support of Art Rocks!
Art by the Lake - Fenimore Art Museum, Cooperstown NY
The event will take place on Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 10am-5pm on the museum’s expansive back lawn overlooking Otsego Lake. A wide range of art will be available for visitors to see and purchase including watercolors, acrylics, oils, photographs, prints, ink drawings, sculptures, and more.

UMN for the Arts Spring Refinery Artist Spotlight presents, Dawn Riggs Pace. This is Dawns second Refinery with UMN for the Arts and the Thincubator. Refinery participant Dawn Pace is a wildlife artist working in acrylic paint. Her realistic portrayal of wild life makes you feel completely connected to her paintings.
When painting Dawn strives to bring out the animals soul through the detail in their eyes. Anyone looking at her art will feel a connection with the animal.
